Preference Examples

Preferences sets the characteristics of the riders you want to match for carpooling. Use this to fine tune the search results.

Using an I want will tell the search engine to only match other users that are this type.

If you only want to see riders that are skiers, select for Rider Type: I want a skier. The search results will only display skiers.

Using an I prefer tells the search engine to display these riders ahead of other riders.

If you prefer matching skiers, select for Rider Type: I prefer skiers. The search results will show skiers first, then other riders later.

Use I don't care to match all riders in that category.

If you don't care about the age of the person you're matching, select for Age Group: I don't care. The search results will show all age groups.

Use I don't want to match all riders except the selected group.

If you don't want to match experts, select for Ability: I don't want an Expert. The search results will show all abilities except for Expert.
